The Mark V is the premier rifle series from Weatherby, and the Hunter line brings the serious hunter a rifle he can trust like no other. The Mark V action is known for its accuracy and durability, even with potent calibers few other actions can handle. A Cerakote finish is applied to the metalwork, providing corrosion and abrasion resistance. The barrel is threaded 1/2×28 for easy suppressor or muzzle device mounting. The synthetic stock features a Badlands Black camoflage finish and duplicates the ergonomics of the Mark V Backcountry 2.0. The 6.5 Weatherby RPM cartridge combines maximum velocity with the excellent ballistics and penetration the 6.5mm projectiles are known for.
