The Ruger 10/22 Carbon Carbine brings long sought-after features to the 10/22 platform at price that is reasonable. Ruger starts this rifle with the lightweight Magpul MOE X22 stock in a black with speckled gray finish and equipped with a pair of MLOK slots on the bottom of the forend for easy bipod and tripod mounting. An extended magazine release mounted along the trigger guard makes magazine changes quick and simple, especially with the flush-fit 10 round factory magazines. The trigger itself is the Ruger BX-Trigger with a crisp 2.5-3 lb. trigger pull. The rifle receiver is equipped with a Picatinny rail and is finished in a low visibility black finish.The barrel is a bull profile steel and tensioned carbon fiber unit and is threaded 1/2×28 for a combination of high precision and light weight. All of this is brought together in a package that only weighs roughly 3 and half pounds.
