Ruger is celebrating it’s 75th anniversary with a number of limited run firearms, including this Ruger American in 22 LR. Ruger starts off with a high-polish stainless steel action and 22″ barrel, and combines them with a dark walnut stock to produce a simple yet good-looking rifle that is still something you won’t mind using in the field. The American Rimfire series of rifles utilize the same magazines as the 10/22 platform, simplifying magazine aquisition and availability. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope rail, giving you the option of either using the equipped iron sights or mounting your choice of optic.
