Celebrating 100 years of the .270 Winchester, Ruger has released a limited run of custom M77 Hawkeye rifles. Starting with the proven M77 action, Ruger has added a fine walnut stock with a ebony forend tip for that classic sporting rifle look. The polished blued barreled action is complimented by polished blued bottom metal with the magazine floorplate bearing an inlayed engraving of the Ruger eagle and the words “.270 Winchester 1925-2025”. A 22″ sporter profile barrel keeps the rifle light and accurate. The receiver is cut for Ruger’s dovetail rings and a pair of 1″ diameter medium rings are included. A classy rifle for any fan of the .270 Winchester cartridge.
